ImprovementToDoublePageSpread

I have used the main image in my double page spread to overlap and link the two pages to make it seem more like one big page than two sperate pages. I have also added page numbers at the top of the pages to give it a professional, yet stylish look.

FeedbackForDoublePageSpreadFinalProduct

Feedback from Tyrone:-

I think the page looks aesthetically pleasing, however i think that there needs to be a link between both pages for this double page spread to look better, and it does not have one. With the use of a link between the pages it would make the page look more of a whole than two seperate pages. I like the use of the pull quote as it makes the page seem professional and somewhat sophisticated.

Feedback from Lee:-

The font of the answer from "Rachel" is a good idea as he has used a more girly font to make it seem like she has wrote the answer by hand. I also like the link to the website as this makes the page look very sophisticated like a rel magazine. The only downside in my opinion is that the page doesn't have much on and is a little plain.

Feedback from Jake:-

The thing that concerns me about this double page is that its a little dull and boring. Although, i do like the idea of page numbers and it makes the page look alot better even though its only a small addition. Overall i think that the pages look professional and that this would look correct in a magazine.

FeedbackForContentsPageFinalProduct

Feedback from Jess :-
I think that the colours are quite boring and very dull. It doesn't really catch my eye. If i was looking for a magazine i would look for something that would be eye catching and bright with bold images and text. I don't think this contents page does this. If the front cover was bold, bright and eye-catching i would go for the magazine, but then when it come to the contents page i would be disappointed when i saw this.
Feedback from John:-
I think the layout of the contents page is good but i think the red writing in the bottom left of the page looks a little out of place. I think the use of the arrow however is a good idea and overall i think its a good looking piece and a professional looking contents page.
Feedback from Max:-
I think the colour scheme is not too eye catching and because the model is a female, i would use more feminine colours. The subheadings in my opinion, is a good idea and it makes the page look more sophisticated. If i saw this in a shop i wouldnt think it was out of place as it does follow conventions and looks like a real contents page.

Feedback from Ben:-
This front cover has been made to a good standard from my point of view and i think the colours work well. I would be tempted to move or change the quotation at the bottom of the cover (Rachel's debut single hits #1) because it seems out of place slightly. however, overall i think that it is a very good product and it does definitely look like a professional magazine cover.
Feedback from jack:-
I think that the use of the bar code and the issue number next to it makes it look more professional because that is whats conventional on a magazine front cover. The use of the pug in the top right hand corner adds something new to the page and makes it look aesthetically pleasing. To finish i think that my final and overall view of the cover, is very good and i think that the camera angle/shot is suitable for the magazine.
feedback from Liam:-
I think that from first viewing of the cover it looks very good and professional, however it seems a little crowed with sub headings and if it were me, i may decrease the number of them to give it a more sophisticated look. In addition, many magazine covers have a lot of subheadings and Liam's magazine still looks like a real magazine.

DoublePageSpreadFinalProduct

For my double page spread i have stuck with the colour scheme i have used throughout the other final products as this makes it seem more continuous and professional. I have chosen to use an interview on the pages along with a picture of the star being interviewed. I personally think the colours work well and the spread looks like it could be sold in a shop.

ContentsFinalProduct

This, my contents page for my music magazine, in my opinion is quite conventional in how i have laid out the page. This is because i have used one image along with additional headings and text on the page to make it look like a realistic contents page. Overall i am happy with the outcome of my contents page and am looking forward to the posting of my double page spread.

FrontCoverFinalProduct

This cover i have created has all the things that a normal magazine would have on its front cover. I've added a barcode, price, issue number along with a pug and subheadings to describe whats inside the magazine.
